Close your eyes and breathe deeply. Focus on your winx. Imagine you with wings using some rather powerful spells and potions. Concintrate on anything magical that you may be facing. Fight it off with your own specail ways.

Maya took a long deep breathe and lethargically closed her eyes. She then tried to imagine her wings. What did her wings look like? Maya's eyebrows furrowed. Were they pink? Or were they blue? Were they large or small? She had so many questions. At the end, she came down with a pair of pink fluorescent nymph wings.

Now, she had to imagine her opponent. How about a ghoul? Yes, a ghoul would be good. If she imagined a hard opponent, she probably wouldn't be able to defeat it since her knowledge was limited.

In Maya's head, she imagined herself on the ground with wings. Her forefinger pointed at the ghoul as she recited a freezing spell that she had read before when she sneaked into a library one time. In her kingdom, there were some strong racial differences and the commoners were prohibited to enter the Library. Maya swiftly shook those thoughts out of her head. She had to concentrate on defeating the enemy.

So Maya finger pointed at the ghoul and she recited the spell. Suddenly, the ghoul's action began to pause. The ghoul's body slowly came to a halt and then it just stood there, like a statue. At the second, Maya's eyes jolted open.

*claps hands*

"Maya, what beautiful winx! Look at yourself, soon you shall be going into your winx in a split second."

"Eh?" Maya looked at herself and saw (Uhhhhh what did Maya see? I'm just making it up) her body emited a luminous glow.

(how about, a locket?)

The glow died down and as she returned to her normal self.."Umm..." Maya whispered with surprise.

"Look, it's beautiful. And it even has your name on it," the teacher said astonished.

"Oh! But...how did it get there," the flabbergasted Maya asked she she took thek locker in her fingers.

"Magic works in mysterious ways," she said.

"Ah," she realized as she twirled the locket. "So, does that mean I pass?"

"Depends on what the locket is. For now yes. Why don't you put it around your neck?"

(Oooh...I thought it was already on my neck. Oh well!)

Maya stopped playing with the locket so she could put it on. She gently lifted it from the desk and unhooked it. She swung it around her neck and hooked it back on. "Done."

Look at it glow. it must mean something, but I don't know what.

(I did? I don't remember that...weird...I looked back and I can't find it either.)

"Maybe it was just because I gave off some magic," Maya proposed as she squeezed her clammy hands.

"Maybe, anyways, classed dismissed until tomorrow," she said.

Maya nodded as she gathered her belongings. As pushed away the chair, she lifted the bag from the floor and then glided out the door.

"Welcome Maya, and how are you today?" Miss Triton said.

Maya took a seat at the center of the room. "Fine, and how about you?" She dropped her bookbag to the side of the desk and got out her pencil case a wirebound notebook.

"Good, now let's get started. We'll work on that locket of yours for a little while, okay?" She started to right words on the white board.

It said, "Lockess, a sha untaleate world."
